DAY 1: This is my 1st time to Taiwan. Super excited. We took the flight from Penang to Hong Kong via Cathay pacific (about 4 hours), and from Hong Kong to Taiwan (about 2 hours). We went to airport at 5am, and reach Taiwan around 4pm. Upon arrival at Taiwan, we were pick up by our Taiwan tour guide. The bus took us to National Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall. Location:  https://goo.gl/maps/BCUkaxrEzpH2 . Because this place open from 9am-6pm, when we arrive, it was about 5.30pm. So we just took some photos and leave the place. Now it is time for some food hunt. We were brought to Raohe St. night market. Location:  https://goo.gl/maps/tAD67fvMamz . Before we head to the night market, we walk around the temple next to the night market for toilet. So much to eat here and we just bought what ever we can and eat. DAY 2: After 2 hours walk, we back to hotel and check-in. Next day, we went to Yehliu Geopark. Location:  https://goo.gl/maps/CddPtzqtZy

Taiping is about 1.5 hours drive from Penang Island. So it quite a near place for a short getaway. Not much there but for a leisure trip, we spend 1 night there. 1st thing after we arrive, hotel check-in. Then we go for 1st place which is the Antong Coffee factory since 1933. Location: https://goo.gl/maps/rd3A2owWc5E2. Over here you can have free coffee testing. Next to it is the office where Sun Yat Sen been here during the Kuomintang revolution. We tour around this place and have some coffee. Some props for photograph. Then we went to fill up our tummy at Larut Matang Hawker Centre. Location: https://goo.gl/maps/uXkobGXsLys. Here we try the ice mountain, char koey teow,  With tummy recharge, we went to the Taiping lake. There we can easily spend few hours but because it is quite late, so we just walk on the side near to the Taiping Zoo as we are waiting for the night safari which start at 8pm.
