Day 14 – Claim tax refund at Incheon and back to Penang

Previous: Day 13 – Lunch and shopping at Myeongdong, and dinner at Shinchon We wake up quite late today and a bit rush. So yesterday we bought the Shin Ramen for breakfast. After finish our breakfast, we proceed to check out and head to Incheon airport. We take Line 2 and transfer at Hongik Univ station to AREX Line. When we reach airport, we notice there are no Air Asia counter, which means we unable to purchase for luggage upgrade. We bought only 30kg for 2 person. We called our Korean friend that we are heading back to Penang as we will be returning the mobile phone. After we return the phone, we try to find for weighing machine. At there we trying to adjust our luggage which is at that moment 38kg. We distribute the 8kg of extra weight to our hand carry backpack. It was tough and we spend about 1 hour try to arrange that. Day 13 – Lunch and shopping at Myeongdong, and dinner at Shinchon

Previous: Day 12 – Bukchon Hanok Village, Noryangjin Fish Market and Yeuido tour People say if come to Myeongdong, must try their dumpling. We walk to the Myeongdong and change some money. Although it is almost near the end of the trip, I still need some cash for shopping at Myeongdong. Myeongdong popular with skincare and cosmetic product. There are lots of shops like Nature Republic, Skinfood, The Face Shop, Body Shop, Etude house, It’s Skin, Missha, Tony Moly, and a lots more. Too much until some of them I don’t recall their name. We stop by the mobile tourism information to ask for famous Myeongdong dumpling and Free Hanbok trying. They guide us the location and we reach the dumpling house. They call this Myeongdong Gyoza. We stop by and order 1 bowl of noodles and gyoza. It cost around 16,000won (RM32). The dumpling is so delicious that I can’t stop eating it. Previous: Day 11 - Insadong, Deoksugung, Lotte Mart and dinner with our Korean Friend Waking up today realize that we left 2 more days in Korea. We have mix feeling of sad and happy. Sad as the enjoy life is about to end and happy as we will be able stop spending like a boss. If this continue we will be broke. Yesterday our friend told us we should come to Bukchon Hanok Village . It was in my plan but I decided to cancel the trip. I want to spend a more relaxing time in Seoul than having rushing too many places. Maybe spend some nice time walking around Seoul and try more local foods. Since it is recommended, we came here. Coming here is just the same as coming to Insadong. We take Line 3 and stop at Anguk station, then exit 2. If we exit 6, we will be at Insadong. We walk around Bukchon. What special here is that the village is fusion with new technology. Previous: Day 10 (part 2) - Namsangol Folk Village, Time Capsule and Jajjangmyeon for dinner We wake up today and thinking our journey in Korea about to end in several days more. I’m very sad of leaving here and back to work life in Penang. We heading to Insadong today. We took Line 3 at Euljiro (3)sam-ga station and stop at Anguk Station exit 6. Actually from our guesthouse to here, it just take approximately 15 minutes walk but we take subway about one station stop. After exit from the subway station, walk straight about 100m and will come to a traffic light junction. There is the Insadong. We saw the information counter and mobile tourism information people here. We walk along the Insadong street and we come to Ssamziegil . Ssamziegil building is a very unique building. From the entrance (as the picture below), you will have to goes on the right, there is a staircase. Walk up the staircase and slowly walk following the corridor. We notice we are at the second floor. Day 10 (part 2) - Namsangol Folk Village, Time Capsule and Jajjangmyeon for dinner

Previous: Day 10 (part 1) - Namdaemun Market, N Seoul Tower and Teddy Bear Museum After we come down from the N Seoul Tower, we proceed to Namsangol Folk Village. We actually walk from the Namsan park to here which quite regret. We can actually walk to Namdaemun Market, eat something and take subway to here. About 2 station stop. The reason why we walk as we are at quite near to Myeongdong station. Myeongdong just located opposite the Namsan Park. From Myeongdong, it just about 1 station stop. Of course I have no problem walking there but my wife scream too tired walking all the way to Namsangol. However, we still end up there too. Here we can see lots of cultural and Joseon folk village. After taking some photos here, we walk to time capsule which located at the back of the folk village. In the time capsule, the Seoul citizen place their items at that moment (1994) to a capsule. Items like walkman, underwear, cloth, foods and lots of stuff from the year 1994 into the capsul

Day 10 (part 1) - Namdaemun Market, N Seoul Tower and Teddy Bear Museum

Previous:  Day 9 (part 2) - Changdeokgung, Huwon, Changyeonggung and Dongdaemun Tour Today we head to Namdaemun Market . This market is a must visit place if looking for sourvenir. We took Line 3 from Euljiro (3)sam-ga and transfer at Chungmuro. Then we take Line 4 Hoehyeon station and exit 5. In fact we can also walk to Namdaemun Market from the guesthouse but we want to preserve our leg energy after a horrible whole day walk yesterday. At Namdaemun, we can find lots of food alley where we can find lots of food here like bibimbap, hotpot and etc. There are also lots of stuff sells here. It more like Petaling Street at KL. We walk up to a building. Inside the building we tour floor by floor where we can find lots of household items, dried food, cloths, and sourvenir. We stop by the sourvenir floor and shop for lots of sourvenir. Actually we also can get sourvenir from Insadong but here is cheaper. After we bought lots of stuff here, we dump all into our bag and walk to Namsam Park. Ori
